IRANIAN PULSE EXHIBIT
2011
In Iran, for decades, a major cultural resistance has been established and developed, keeping thousands of years of cultural creations intact in this part of the world, despite the troubled political context. The Iranian Pulse exhibit displayed a wide selection of photography and videos, as well as “site-specific” external projections of the contemporary art in Iran, through subjects such as poetry, the spirit of celebration, women, war, heaven, dramas and traditions. This exhibition took place in 2011 at SESC São Paulo, OI Futuro in Rio de Janeiro, and ECCO, in Brasilia.
